Information we collect

When you create an account, we store your name, email, sign-in information, roles, onboarding details, and profile. Tester profiles can include devices, experience, and availability. Owner accounts include workspace and app details.

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your basic profile and verified email. We store the provider account identifier and authentication information needed to sign you in. We do not request access to Gmail or Drive.

Using Testr creates records of campaigns, memberships, bug reports, messages, evidence, reviews, appeals, notifications, and account activity. Payments include amounts, status, payment-provider references, and the phone or payout destination you provide. Do not include passwords, private customer data, or other sensitive information in reports.

How we use your information

We use information to operate accounts, match testing opportunities, show relevant campaign details, manage reports and appeals, protect against fraud, provide support, and account for payments. We do not sell your personal information.

App branding imports retrieve publicly accessible website details such as a title, description, color, or logo. Owners can review those details before saving them.

Who can see it

Public campaign pages show app branding, campaign summaries, and reward information. Private testing instructions, reports, and evidence are restricted according to campaign participation and account permissions. Campaign owners can review submissions to their campaigns; administrators can access records needed for moderation, appeals, support, and finance.

Public leaderboards show tester display names, organization workspace names (or owner display names when no workspace name is set), approved bug counts, ranks, and total bug rewards before cash-out fees.

Hosting, database, private file storage, and payment providers process the information needed to deliver their services. Jami processes checkout and payout requests, including the payment details you submit. Its own terms and privacy practices also apply. Information may be disclosed where required by law or needed to investigate abuse.

Cookies and your choices

Testr uses essential session cookies for authentication and account security. We also store a cookie remembering that you have seen our cookie notice for up to six months. We currently do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

You can clear cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in from working. The Cookies link reopens our notice; it does not change your browser’s cookie settings.

Storage, security, and retention

We restrict private evidence access and use permission checks for account and financial actions. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Hosting and service providers may process data outside the country where you live.

We keep account and activity records while needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Financial and audit records may need to be retained after an account is closed. We do not promise immediate deletion of records that must be preserved.

Your information and rights

You can update available profile details in Account settings. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and the need to retain certain financial or dispute records. See the contact information at the end of this policy.

If a policy change materially affects how we use information, we will make the updated policy available here and provide additional notice when appropriate.
